British violist Anna Lusty is based in Eindhoven  (2024) and combines performing with other passions, which include teaching and singing.

Having spent the last 5 years performing in chamber ensembles and orchestras in the UK, she sees making music together as a key part of developing as a musician - along with having lots of fun!

She has devoted most of her time in the last decade to instrumental music teaching, and community music leading in local music hubs and organisations.

Earlier, Anna graduated from her Bachelor degree with First Class (honours) at the Royal Academy of Music in London where she studied under scholarship with professor Jon Thorne. During her studentship she participated in a rich variety of solo, chamber and orchestral concerts and masterclasses in venues both in Britain and across Europe. Following which she performed extensively around the Netherlands as a member of the National Jeugd Orkest, in venues such as the Royal Concertgebouw, Royal Festival hall, London and TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht.
